How To Shutdown The Computer Using Desktop Shortcut

There are many ways to turn off your computer
But sometimes for a change and a Bit Hurry time
You can use a desktop shortcut to turn off your PC.
It can also be used to fool your friends .......

Following are the steps to follow:

1. Right Click On the Desktop.


2. Click On New-->Create Shortcut

3. A window appears asking to type the location of item

4. Type shutdown -s -t 10
     (in place of 10 you can put any digit, it refers to the seconds you want for the shutdown)
 5. Click Next


 6. You can type any interesting name or just simply leave it to shutdown ( for. eg songs)

7.Click Finish. An icon appears on the desktop
 
 8. Right click the icon and click Send to -->create shortcut

9. Place the original file somewhere else in any drive or folder

10. Right Click on the shortcut select properties and Change its Icon to any interesting icon and apply it.

11. Then open it.............

12. A window appears displaying the time left for shutdown and the pc will shutdown..!
